New ECDs & Head of Art at BBDO Guerrero

Brandie_Tin.jpgBBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines has announced the promotion of Brandie Tan and Tin Sanchez to the position of joint Executive Creative Directors. Tan and Sanchez, who were the team responsible for the Agency's highly awarded 'Lola Techie' campaign for Bayan Telecommunications, will take over the creative leadership of the Agency from Simon Welsh who is returning to England as Creative Director of a top London Agency.

Tan and Sanchez joined BBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines in 2008 as Head of Art and Head of Copy. Prior to joining the Agency, the pair were joint Executive Creative Directors of Lowe Vietnam. As well as their highly recognized work for Bayan Telecommunications, they were the winners of the first and only Cannes Gold Lion for the Philippines.
Last month Sanchez returned from a posting at Proximity Worldwide in London as part of the creative leadership transition plan.

Paul Andreson.jpgConcurrently, the Agency has also announced the appointment of Paul Anderson to the position of Creative Director & Head of Art of BBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines. Anderson, a native of South Africa, started his career at The Jupiter Drawing Room in Johannesburg, before moving to TBWA / Hunt Lascaris and has worked in Asia since 2005. He joins the Agency from BBH Asia Pacific in Singapore and Shanghai.

Remarking on the appointments, David Guerrero, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer of BBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines said, "Brandie & Tin have proven themselves to be ready to take on creative leadership of the Agency. They are one of the few teams in the region to have won gold this year in both regional Effectiveness award shows and Creative award shows. This perfectly summarizes our ambition to demonstrate that the same work can win both. Quite simply our aim is to become the leading agency in executing this vision for both local and international clients and Brandie & Tin's creative leadership will be instrumental in continuing to deliver this. Paul is also a perfect complement to our team, bringing with him experience from some of the world's most highly recognized creative agencies where, amongst a huge and impressive body of work, he has garnered significant recognition including a Gold Lion at Cannes."
