Seen+Noted: Can you take the heat?
Bao Bao Chilli Sauce delivers a dose of fiery fun with each dollop. To communicate this Grey Kuala Lumpur created a series of quirky web banners which were placed on food blogs, each featuring a different representation of intense heat.
The first utilizes heat-seeking missiles that are attracted to the bottle of chilli sauce wherever it goes, implying that the sauce is irresistible. The second sends the cursor reeling back with an explosion triggered by each mouse-over. The third banner sparks off flames and sets the cursor aflame whenever it strikes the bottle, reflecting the nature of chilli fans who love to ‘play with fire’.

Well done. Nice simple idea n well executed.
Love the styling.
Mechanics are simple but striking….had fun with the ‘blast’ one.
oughta win something! good luck
Enjoyed the one with heat seeking missiles. Simple yet fun.
Never knew banners can be this fun! Good stuff
These are terribly hackneyed….a chilli sauce bottle exploding in flames….who’da thunk it?
Fiery ads!
simple and memorable.
my favourite one was sparks.
Interesting executions to deliver the ideas, though i felt the lines of the first one could’ve been better.
nice….3 thumbs up
Are you guys at Grey having some kind of competition to see who can talk up these silly ads the most?
Its like you’re trying to bend a spoon or something…give it a rest, ok.
hellooo….just abt any online submissions by agencies have internal comments. think those brilliant youtube vids feature entirely outsiders’ comments? or ratings? so what. in the end if it wins, it wins.
well, whatever u guys r debating over … i still think these 3 ads r pretty ok
