The winning works in the Corbis ‘Creatives Behind the Lens’ competition in Asia have been released. Winning images are showcase HERE, and will be featured inexhibitions in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur in August andSeptember. Winners works will also be published in a Creatives Behindthe Lens book.

Regional Winners of the competition include:

➢    Lam Tin, Art Director of TEAM, photograph titled “China Flower”

➢    Eddie Wong, Head of Art of Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore, photograph titled “Camel Boy”

➢    Mike Chin, Senior Copywriter of TBWA/Tequila Malaysia, photograph titled ” Pray”

➢    Mosquito, Artist of The A Team Taiwan, photograph titled ” A Praying Mantis”

➢    Human Kwok, Designer of Monopoly Hong Kong, photograph titled “Victoria Harbour”

➢    Sze Mei, Planner of Mindshare Malaysia, photograph titled “The Weight of This Morning”

➢    Sam Shen, Creative Director of Sun Communications Beijing, photograph titled “European Impressions”

➢    Leslie Neo, Art Director of Paperclip Communication Singapore, photograph titled “Rustic Charm”

 

The Creatives Behind the Lens competition attracted non-professionalphotographers working in the creative industries across Asia Pacific,receiving over 900 entries. The competition is supported by severalprominent media partners including AdAsia, Campaign Brief Asia, ChinaAdvertising, Milk X Magazine, Best X Club and Longyin Review.

The pictures were judged first by a local panel of esteemed industryprofessionals in China, Hong Kong, and South Asia, and then by aregional panel including Jens de Gruyter, Vice President of CreativePhotography, Corbis; Bentham Liu, Chairman, Greater China of CondeNast; Ng Fan of Saatchi & Saatchi Guanzhou, Ken Tao of EnergySource China, Tif Wu of Euro RSCG Shanghai and Jason Zhao of PublicisBeijing.
