Call for entries to the AME Awards

The AME Awards for Advertising & Marketing Effectiveness announced the Call For Entries for the 2010 competition. Now in its 16th year, the AME Awards honor work that successfully demonstrates groundbreaking solutions to challenging marketing problems.  This year’s AME competition will offer a redefined category lineup to feature the new array of tools in use by advertisers and marketers.  In addition, the 2010 competition will introduce regional competitions to allow the preliminary competitions to take place within specific regions. 

The five regions are: Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & Africa, and North America.  

All Gold winners, selected from each of the five regions, will go on to be judged by an international Grand Jury. AME’s Grand Jury will select winners, evaluating each campaign on the following criteria: how well it met its objective in its category and its overall impact in the marketplace. All AME Gold winning work will be judged by the Grand Jury to determine a Platinum Trophy winner for each of the five regions. All Gold Award winners will be judged against each other to honor the top scoring campaign in four categories; Consumer Products and Services; Business to Business Products and Services; Use of Discipline; and Use of Medium.

This year’s Grand Jury will also select a winner for the newly minted AME Green Award. The AME Green Award will honor the entry that meets the objectives of a company whose emphasis is on resource conservation and reducing any negative impact to the environment.
